An expired certificate makes browsers warn visitors that your site is not secure. Pingee tells you well before that happens.
Once a day Pingee connects to your website securely and checks that the certificate is valid (trusted, matches your domain and not expired) and how many days are left before it expires.
You are warned when the certificate has 30, 14 or 7 days left, and on the day it expires. A certificate that is already invalid or expired is reported straight away. Each email explains what it means and what to do next.
Our guide What happens when an SSL certificate expires covers the causes and fixes in more detail.
SSL certificate expires in 30 days. “When it expires, browsers warn visitors that your site is not secure. Auto-renewal may not be working.”
SSL monitoring is included in every plan, from Starter at £5 a month. See pricing.
